My journey
I have always had a unique fascination with the human body, what makes it tick and how we can assist it to function optimally. However, there were a few years when I was in my early twenties, that this love and passion for wellbeing became obsessive, disordered and very problematic. I developed an eating disorder which required hospitalisation. I had a lengthy inpatient admission and then attended the day program and all of the specialist appointments that were required for me to progress in recovery. It took me many years to navigate the rocky path to reach full recovery, but I am very proud to say that I have 100% recovered from my eating disorder. I am now an incredibly happy human who has a fabulous relationship with food and my body.
My former eating disorder and my journey to full recovery will never be the same as anyone else’s, I’m the first to acknowledge that everyone’s journey is uniquely their own. However, what I have learnt is that there are certain stages recovery and based off these, I have established my 4 step signature / blueprint …….
I have extensive experience in working with eating disorder and disordered eating clients; from inpatients to day program and to outpatients – in the private practice setting. I have worked with hundreds of women to help them overcome their eating disorder, regain control of their life and enjoy food again. What I have noticed however is that the traditional model of seeing clients for an initial consultation, then seeing them over subsequent weeks and months for follow up consultations was certainly not the most effective way for the client to achieve their optimal result in the most condensed timeframe possible. There is a huge portion of time between sessions where questions might be thought of, support or guidance required and the need for accountability is high.
I have used my own journey, evidence-based practice, and my own clinical experience to create a program and support service which I wish existed when I was going through recovery, I felt very alone and isolated, like no one really got it. I’m here to let you know that I get it, I truly do; and I would love to hold your hand through the journey from fearing food to food freedom.

This program, RENOURISH to RECOVER is designed for someone who has a dianosed eating disorder. My other program RENOURISH to RESTORE is for those not diagnosed with an eating disorder (e.g. disordered eating, PCOS, HA and other conditions). If you’re unsure which progrm is best suited to you please head to the ‘contact’ page and send me an email with your questions.

First up we'll have a 1:1 comprehensive initial assessment to delve into your eating disorder history, understand the challenges you've faced, and discuss your goals. We'll explore the difficulties you've encountered with food, movement, and body image, and we'll also assess any nutritional deficiencies. You'll be equipped with all the necessary tools— such as Recovery Record or my food journal template, messenger and email support. Together, we'll develop a tailored plan focused on your goals. From there, the journey includes weekly check-ins, updates, and plenty of support through meal support sessions and nutritional coaching. Imagine having a dietitian and confidante in your pocket for 3 months!

RENOURISH to RECOVERY is 3 months. This may sound like quite along time however think about how long you’ve struggled with your eating disorder, we can’t expect recovery to take only a few weeks. From my experience, I know the earlier stages of recovery need to be higher touch, increased session frequency and overall a lot more support is required. We will ensure we get to the root cause of your eating disorder and ensure we set the foundations to re-build a solid relationship with food, get you to find joy in food, movement and be at peace with your body.

No problems at all! In fact, most clients will still need some additional support as often these diet culture inspired behaviours and learnings have come about over years and years; hence it’s expected to take longer than 3 months to completely ditch them and learn that there’s a better way.
RENOURISH & RECOVER has been crafted to jump-start your recovery journey and provide you with the tools to sustain progress on your own after the program concludes. Due to the intensity of eating disorders and the deep seated beliefs, we don’t expect individuals to walk away after 3 months and not need any ongoing support.
For this reason, we offer ongoing support tailored to your specific needs to help you continue advancing post-program.

Absolutely, yes we do! We know times are tough right now and we don’t want finances to be a barrier to accessing the best possible treatment for you. Happy to to do a payment plan option if we are a good fit to work togeher.

Yes!! This is NOT a group program so we start when you’re ready. Just a note though, I only open up 1-2 spots each month so I can fully support my clients and give them the time they deserve.
